Do you like Megaman? You like things that go pew-pew? Well, I got the thing for you!

This little lemon launcher allows you to, well, launch lemons!

Using genuine NES sounds, the buster can shoot both normal lemons and a charged shot. The lemons bounce around (thought it'd be fun) and the charge shot explodes on impact.

But that's not all! Now with the 2.0 update, you can dip into the rest of the arsenal!

Slice your foes with the Metal Blades, Heat things up with the Flame Sword, defend yourself with the Leaf Shield, and fill your opponent with shock and awe (mainly shock) with the Static Shock!

You can switch between weapon modes in the menu. Normal lemons fire with a right fist, and a charged shot is triggered with thumbs-up. Metal Blades are thrown with open palms, the Leaf Shield is deployed and launched with thumbs-up and fist, and the Static shock is charged with fists, but triggered by direct contact with either a player or by touching the spikes together

What you get:

A functional Mega Buster, complete with a variety of fire modes, and Mega Man's classic helmet, all made from scratch by me.

=================================================

Performance (based on VRC's SDK):

Buster is 2,294 triangles.

Helmet is 5,306 triangles.

Metal Blade is 1,056 triangles.

Only 1 Material is used between the different props

A whopping total of 31 material instances are used across the prefab (note that material instances are counted per source, including separate meshes and particle systems)

Overall performance is "very poor" unfortunately, due to the high material and particle count in the particle systems, which along with the light sources could cause some users to lag.

Requirements:

·         VRChat Creator Companion

·         Avatar 3.0 Manager (to merge controllers) No longer required

·         Now uses VRCFury for controllers

·         Poiyomi Toon v9.0 or later

·         a general understanding of unity and item toggles.

FAQ:

Q: "Is this Quest/Mobile compatible?"

A: As of now, no, mainly due to the sheer number of particles, material instances, lights and sounds, along with a simple screen shader for the Static Shock attack. However, it could still be converted to Quest, if the lights, sounds and screen shader are removed, however it would still severely impact performance. If enough people ask for a proper Quest build, I'll update the package with one.

Q: "I'm getting missing scripts on my avatar! What happened?"

A: This is usually from either missing VRCFury or from using an old version of the SDK. Make sure you have VRCFury installed and that your SDK and Creator Companion are up-to-date

Q: "Everything's pink!"

A: Poiyomi shader had an error, or is missing from the project. This is uncommon now, thanks to shader locking, but might still happen. Either import Poiyomi, or select a different shader for the materials.

Q: "Static Shock effect doesn't work! Why is there a pink cube in the spike?

A: Leviant's ScreenSpace shader needs an object to be on, hence the cube. Assuming you have the shader imported, the cube is pink because the material couldn't find the path to the shader, resulting in an error. Manually select Leviant's ScreenSpace shader for the cube's material.
